Mingle with a Purpose: Heels & All 2025
February 27th, 2025 - This year is the 11th Annual Mingle with a Purpose event! For the past 10 years, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted an annual women's event, with the purpose of bringing together ladies from across the community, regardless of work status or background, and giving them a chance to connect and grow together. In the past, there have been up to 280 women gathering for this annual event, and we are planning to get bigger and better in 2025!
Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism Annual Chamber Gala
Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism Annual Chamber Gala event is held in the Dacotah Exposition Center at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and welcomes nearly 300 people for this much-anticipated event.This Annual Gala event is the largest Chamber fundraiser, and supports our ongoing work of workforce development and community development for the entire year. The event features a four course gourmet meal, entertainment, silent and live auction, games and 7 Visionary Awards, presented to community members and business professionals who give their time, talents, and resources to better our community.
B The Light
Weelborg Ford is proud to support Cancer Awareness Month. This past October, our dealership participated in a group-wide effort by offering Breast Cancer wristbands for sale, with donations benefiting B the Light. This incredible non-profit organization serves breast cancer patients and their families throughout the Southern Minnesota area. Together, the Weelborg Auto Group raised over $3,000 to support this meaningful cause, helping to make a difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer.
21st Annual "FREEZIN' FOR FOOD"
The "FREEZIN' FOR FOOD" event is one of the most anticipated of all our community initiatives. Weelborg Ford, in partnership with and other local Weelborg car dealerships, is proud to support this event, which is now entering its 21st year. The ultimate goal is to collect 20,000 pounds of food, non-perishable items and cash donations, all of which will support local food shelves.
Participating is easy and convenient. Drop-off locations can be found in several local communities, and you can even buy pre-made bags of varying value, making it easy to contribute in a way that suits you best. The collected donations will benefit several food shelves, including:

- Wabasso Wafers
- Lower Sioux Food Agency
- Renville County Food Shelf
